a step to drawstring

I wanted to practice my sewing today. I have never made a drawstring bag before so I wanted to try to make one out of a old unwanted t-shirt.
I made so many mistakes. Luckily I had enough fabric to make 4 bags. On two of them I made a really big mistake because I sewed the bag shut. I had to toss them, but that is okay. I expected that to happen. That is why I am using unwanted t-shit fabric and not silk right? The other two came out fine. I even lined the one with the pink bow.

Week Cram

A drama-full week. I wouldn't even dare to explain. BUT I did squeeze in some time to sew a zipper pouch. This is the first time I have ever sewn anything in my life. I have never taken a sewing class either.

BUT Of course me-being-me, I decided not to start my first sewing project with a simple pre-made pattern with a few pieces. Instead, I made my own pattern that consisted of patchwork and seam matching.

I used fabric from a old dress that looked similar to the one above. RECYCLE

a. I made sure that top and middle pieces's patterns matched at the seams

b. I wanted it to be as symmetrical as possible, so that when you fold it, the pattern and seams would match up.

c. I Also wanted the patchwork to have a controlled overlapping feel.

I also put in a patterned lining. I love patterned lining.

I also embroidered the back with my full name.

I have to say. I am very happy with the results but there is always room for improvement.

- use thicker fabric for pouches

Handmade Pizza

A few days ago, my boyfriend and I made Pizza together. I shred the cheese, chop the onion, smash the garlic, stir the sauce, and give him an extra hand when ever needed. He.. did the rest. ^_^

The Pizza came out delicious. The crust is nice and thin with a crisp. The cheese stretch as you pull away. The basil is fresh. Not bad for a homemade pizza without a pizza oven.

But the Etsy store has been slow, and I've been too busy with my own personal life to maintain it, so I closed store. I still make things, but it is more for personal use. I have also created a new store. I am still trying to think of the title for it though. It's a gift shop for my friends and family to shop from. I am actually very excited about it.

I was going to study at the computer lab today, but to my surprise their was a festival at my school. Strangely, most of the people in charge of the booths were not friendly. I would stand in front of their booth and they would purposely ignore me. I would ask them a simple question and they would reply with a short blunt answer or nod and walk away.
Luckily they weren't all like that...

I present to you Ryan Douglas

Ryan Douglas is a very friendly person. As soon as I walked up to his booth, he greeted me with a great smile. He is a executive Chef and a catering Supervisor. He also showed me a few of his meals for Highschool students. Look at this...!

It immediately made me cafeteria food envy.

This is Andrea Crawford. When I went to her booth she told me all about the different herbs she has. It is a little strange seeing the herbs in plant form when I usually see them in powdered form. She had me smell a few and was nice enough to give me a bundle of sweet smelling herbs.

They smell so good. Some of it is in a vase, next to me right now.

*sniff* mmm.... *sniff*

This is Soledad Goats Booth. Their goat cheese is absolutely delicious. They were also very friendly towards me. I had some questions about my poor tomato plant and they were nice enough to give me some advice.They also gave me a beautiful heirloom tomato.
Right at this moment.

This is Jeff Stein. He gave me a unusual white looking eggplant. He also let me try a edible flower.

Crafting again with my imaginary friends. While I was in the backyard, I could hear the people upstairs laughing and having a fun. It made me realize how wonderful it would be if I could find a friend that would craft or knit with me. It is hard to find someone my age that like to craft or knit. They are into partying at raves or drinking.

Well..

At least I received my daily dose of socializing at the knitting group. Yup, I went again.

Hello everyone,

I know it has been a long time since my last post. I am sorry for neglecting you, but I have become a hermit for the past few weeks. School started and the pressure of quizes and homework is on. Realizing this, I am going to make a attempt to not be a Hermit.

I searched online for a knitting club or a crafting club of some kind. It took some time but it is rumored that their is a knitting group that meet at the Farmer's Market by the Grove. They meet every Thursday night from 7-9pm. Today is thursday and I am going to give it a try.

I really hope this rumor is true and that I will find many friendly knitters to knit with. I am a shy person and I am not use to talking to strangers, so I hope everything goes well.

First homemade breakfast

This is the first homemade breakfast, I made in a while. My mom took me out to Costco to feed the starving college student with some nutritious food. Usually I would go to Mc. Donald, if I had enough time before class starts. This time, I made breakfast all by myself.

I had oatmeal, a glass of carrot juice, and a trail-mix bar. I used the apple and cinnamon oatmeal package. I put it in the microwave and it turned out really soggy. It said to put 2/3 cups of water, but I put way too much water becuase I did not use a measuring cup. The texture of it was extremely soggy and gross, but I still ate it becuase it smelled extremely delicious. Mmm... Apple Cinnamon.

Grammy Museum

I went to the Grammy Museum. In the museum, Pictures were not aloud to be taken, so i was unable to do a photo shoot of the place. I saw Micheal Jackson's outfits and Jimmy Hendrix's clothes. They also had a large table that you can touch and choose what ever sort of music you want to listen to. The table looked like it came from a Sci Fi movie. It was like a touch screen but on a table.

Right next to the Grammy Museum there was a special X games event where I got some free stuff. They had plenty of booths on fixing skateboards and special skateboarding stuff. I am not interested in skateboarding or bicycle tricks so I did not go to those booths. The booths I did go to gave me a hand full of Extremely sour warheads, lemon heads, and water bottle.

In the end we went to Norms and ate dinner. Then end.

My Shopping Spree with mom and sis

I went to the Glendale Galleria and to the Americana. It was fantastic. I had so much fun and it all ended Perfectly.

My made a victorious find at my favorite shop. Anthropologie bag for $9.95 Original price: $68.00. I just had to get it.

I have this bag in the color green. YES!!! Fantastic deal and I am So SOOO happy.

My mom also bought 2 dresses for my birthday and a skirt from Charlotte Russe. I have to say it was one of the best time I ever had. It ended perfectly, peacefully, and happily. (which is rare for me)

Birthday Korean food

What Pneumonia

Hello my readers. I am writing this just for you. You must feel special. ^_^ If you don't feel like reading it all, you can just scroll down to the end.

Let see how to start... Imagine this
You have not slept well for days. You have had soup day... after day... after day and you are sick of it. You feel sick and weak from not eating well. You eat the soup because that is the only thing that seem to stay in your stomach. You are not even hungry. You eat because you know you need to. You can't afford loosing any more weight.

Your body is in a battle. you can not decide whether your hot or cold. You feel burning hot from the inside like a oven.With out even touching the skin you can feel the heat coming off of you. Yet you have goose bumps all across your skin and your shivering because you feel cold, but your not. You are hot and cold at the same time. You have a very high fever that just does not want to come down.

You are tired and you had just about enough of it. You have just finished your bottle of cold and flue medicine and it did not work. For several days you try different combinations of ibprophen and acetometaphin to try to get your fever under control.

It is late at night and you get sick. You grab a bag and your body trys to eject food. Your sweating and yet your shivering. You are sick and tired of everything. All you want to do is go to sleep. Just one day of good sleep. sleep it all off. So you take a sleeping pill and you try to go to sleep.

Then at 3:00 you wake up gasping for air. It is still dark outside. Your body wants to sleep but for some reason when ever you start to doze off you stop breathing. When ever you doze off you slowly start to feel dizzy then a suddenly yourself falling and the whole room close on you. You suddenly wake up breathing heavily. You try your best not to fall asleep and to fight the pill because you know if you fall asleep you will stop breathing. Luckily your body wakes you up every time you accidentally do, but your not sure if your body will do it every time.

You wake your boyfriend up and tell him not to let you fall asleep. He looks at your face and your skin looks slightly purple. Your body is burning up with a high fever. He takes you to the Emergency Room.

The doctor checks your temperature and you are at 102.6 F. Your brain is just not functioning. They takes you in and they give you a chest x-ray. Then they tell you "You have Horrible pneumonia."

What?! Pneumonia? Pneumonia!!! What in the world. I could have sworn that I had the Flu. I had all the flu symptoms and I have pneumonia?!

Well they gave me some very strong antibiotics. It came with some nit picky instructions. Can't be in the sun too long, can't be in artificial sunlight too much, can't have magnesium supplements etc... so on and so forth. Lets just say the antibiotics that I am on is used to cure people that has been effected by Anthrax. In other words. I may be sick but if there is a terrorist Anthrax attack, I would survive.

My brain is not fully functioning because I am still on the medicine and my body is still a battle field. So sorry if you see sentences that just don't makes sense. I am soo sick of being sick.

One thing for sure. I could drink all the cold and flu medicine in the world but it was not going to make me feel better. My flu was not a flu. I have pneumonia. I feel a lot better now. It takes FOREVER to get better from peumonia. Well after I take my 10 days of pills, I should be out of the danger zone. They said my pneumonia could get worse if I am not careful. Then in a month, I have to go back to the doctor's office to make sure all the peumonia is gone.

Readers, don't get peumonia okay? It is aweful.

Tutorial: barrette

My dad gave me a large bag of barrettes, so here is a fast and easy hair button barrette tutorial.

Materials:
Buttons
Jewelry wire cutters
E-600 glue
barrette

1. cut the back of the buttons with the pliers.

so it has a flat surface to glue.

2. Glue the button onto the barrette. Make sure you hold the button in position and wait until the E-600 glue dries to

3. Be creative and put as many buttons on to the barrette and your finish. Was that really easy or what?

Just so you know E-600 is a very globby thick glue so be careful. It will sometimes start to ooze by itself without squeezing the tube.
You can buy E-600 glue at many different crafts stores such as Joann and Micheals. I even saw it at Walmart. (inside joke: oohh ... Walmart.. i said a bad word)

I am in the process of making a another blog. I am trying to keep my blog a little organized and trying to blog similar things. Adipose: cute little alien babies. The fat just walks away.

Cassandra- Lovely Cassandra, the last human. She nipped and tucked everything until she is nice and flat.

Vashta Nerada : What you see is not the creature it self. The creature hides in the shadow. If you touch the shadow, these hungry creatures will feed on any living thing. Leaving you with nothing but a corpse.

Weeping Angels: These statues look harmless , but as soon as you blink they will move in an incredibly fast speed and attack you.

Doctor Who

First I want to say " Please NO Spoilers"

I was never a fan of anything, until I watched Doctor Who. I started to watch it when David Tennant was the Doctor. Ever since then, the thought of Doctor Who made me smile even on my sad days. When David Tennant died, I cried. As I watched David Tennant turn into Matt Smith, I was furious. I was not personally angry that the docotor was Matt, I was angry becuase it was not David Tennant. With my judgmental and disappointed eyes I watched Matt take David's place. After watching a few episodes with Matt as the doctor, I have to admit, I am not disappointed.

Doctor Who has the Guiness World Records as the longest-running science fiction television show in the world. The Tv show started in 1963 and I am not surprised that it has continued on. I love Doctor Who becuase I love the adventure, the thrill, the mystery. When watching Doctor Who, you have to pay attention to every detail becuase you never know how it may all connect in the end. You have to watch several shows of Doctor Who to understand what I am talking about. In a way it is like never ending problem solving mystery and I can't wait to know the answer to.

I wish I knew more people that enjoy Doctor Who. It would be nice to join a geeky sleepy over party of Doctor Who fans watching a Doctor Who Marathon from start to most recent. (hahah watch all 765 Episodes.. lots of work) Well it is on my bucket list for now....

For some reason, one of the things I really look forward to on my birthday is all the discounts you get for stores. Mother's Day is comming

As you all know, Mothers DAY IS COMING. I am not a mother but I do have a wonderful mother. Her name is Miyuki. I want to share with the world how much I love my mom and some of the things she did for me that made me smile.

When I was in Elementary school, my mom made me elaborate obento box for lunch. Obento is a Japanese meal that is packed in a box. Here are some examples...

I will always remember how teachers awwwed at my food. While the other kids sometimes teased me because I did not have lunchables. I did not care. I was very happy with my food.

When I was little we did arts and crafts together. I especially remember the time we were decorating a tissue paper frame. I remember being frustrated because my frame did not look as pretty as mommy's... So she let me help her finish her's.

I am not sure if most people would consider this as a happy thought. Now that i am older, I think back at it.. and I think it is hilarious.

When I was little my mom and I found a bee in the back yard. I asked my mom if i can touch it. My mom said "yes". She thought that the bee did not have a stinger anymore or it could not move because it was dead. So as she went into the house, I gently picked up the bee and started to talk to it saying "Poor poor little bee. your so soft. I'm sorry your dead." Suddenly I screamed and went into the house. My hand was swollen because the dead bee had stung me. She took very good care of me by making sure the stinger was out and everything.

Even till this day I like to tell people "This first and only time I was stung by a bee was by a dead one."

I know I have not posted anything new up for a while. The reason is becuase I went on a little trip near Palms Springs at WorldMark by Wyndham. It was Fantastic. Here is a quick Overview

I have become a expert origami crane folder. I have been folding Origami cranes for about 15 Years. When I was little my mom taught me how to make origami cranes. Later in Elementary school my teacher asked me to teach the entire class how to make origami cranes. (yes, Elementary school. I started very young) I make origami cranes for many different sepcial occasions, and get well gifts. I even make origami cranes out of notebook paper and give them to randomly out to people who are sitting around me. It has become a small habbit of mine to fiddle with paper when I have nothing else to do.

Mmm.. Look at it.. It is called Udon. Notice there is no Broccoli. I hate broccoli and for some reason a lot of Wanna be Japanese Restaurants likes to put Broccoli in Udon. That is SOO wrong to me for two reasons: I hate broccoli and broccoli is not even a Japanese vegetable. The Japanese word for broccoli is broccoli with a accent, they don't even have a new word for it.

Dungeons and Dragons 2

Again, here I am playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. This time I decided to bake a little treat to eat while we play. How about some Lemon Cupcakes?

Now, I am not much of a cook. Infact my boyfriend cooks for me. So, I ensure you, if I can make bake this; So Can You.

This is for 24 cupcakes
Ingredients:
1 box of Betty Crocker Lemon cake mix
1 box of Instant Lemon Pudding
1 lemon flavored icing

Directions:
1. Add the Instant Lemon pudding Mix to the cake mix.
2. Then follow the instructions on the box.
Usually it says to add eggs, water, and oil. The instructions for instant cake mix would be different from one type of cake mix to another.
3. Stir the mixture very well
4. Line the cupcake tray and pour in the batter equally.

5. Then bake until it looks golden brown. Do the toothpick test.
Stick the tooth pick in the middle of the cupcake and pull it out. If stuff sticks to it and it looks sticky or doughy , then it is not ready.

Mine needed a few more minutes to cook.
6. After it is ready, Let it cool for a while.
7. Then spread the lemon icing on top.

8. Then it is ready to be served.

Date night

My boyfriend and I has not done anything special for a while.

So he took me out to...The Grove

First we ate at Chipotle. For some reason I was in a really cranky mood becuase I was very hungry and I wanted a burrito.

Then, we went to the movie theater and watched Date Night. I have to say, their date night was more adventurous than ours.

The next day. We went to the over priced Ralph's near his house to buy some ingredients. After buying it we were angry that the chicken cost more than veil or steak there. On top of that, we might as eaten at the Cheesecake Factory for the price of the grocery bill.
But after cooking this delicious treat...

We were very happy with the out come. I took this photo with horrible lighting and it doesn't do it justice. The tomato sauce was a beautiful bright red and the chicken came out crispy and golden brown. Mmmm.. Spaghetti with chicken Parmesan.

Web Designer

I want to be a web designer someday. I am not exactly sure how to become so good that I can web design for large companies. Since web designing is a lot newer compared to wanting to become a doctor or lawyer, there is not a direct clear path that I can take. Unfortunately, I do not know of any successful web designers that I can go up to and ask:

What school did you go to?
What degrees or certificated did you get?
What is your job like?
Do you work on the entire website including the programming and the graphic arts?
Do you really need to know Economics?

etc...

I have so many questions and no one to ask. I go to my college's career counselor and they keep mistaking it with Graphic arts, Computer Science, and Computer Programming. I try to explain to them that I don't want to engineer computers or program computers. If anything, I want to "program" the web. I still see so many boring webpages, it makes me want to cry. I want to make them all beautiful so EVERYONE can enter a new world from the comfort of their home. Grr... Instead of feeling angry and frustrated because the one link they really need, doesn't even work.

Well anyways, with the little knowledge I know about web designing, I tweaked my blog for fun.

My Easter Weekend

For Easter weekend, I went to Ballarat. Ballarat is a ghost town near Death Valley.
On the way there we stopped by a antique store.

They had so many weapons.

When we at last made it to Ballarat - the Ghost town. When we came into Ballarat, we were greeted by a plain broken wall. Nothing much at all. We were all slightly disappointed because it wasn't much of a ghost town. I was glad to see that there was a museum / Store.

I walked in. There was a man standing at the door. He greeted us, inviting us in and telling us "We have some soda and some beer. It is to legalize the constitution.".

Then this is what I saw

What? Where is the store!!! Where is the museum.?!
I found this very funny. In fact it kind of made up for the fallen nearly non- existing buildings.

Well I took a picture of one of the buildings. There was nothing in it other than strips of lumber.

It was still fun. ^_^ Not to bad for a one day trip.

I love bunnies

I really want one. Every since my dog died of old age, I have been searching for another friend. I can't bring myself to get another dog yet, because I am still not over my first one. I miss him very much. I want to tell how much I love him, and that I miss him, and how much of a good friend he was. I want to see him again, but he is gone.
I have been thinking about how wonderful it would be to have a cute little bunny. On the other hand Bunnies have a shorter life span than dogs, and I can't bare to loose another friend again.
So I sit here, on my computer, and day dream about my dog gently playing with a little bunny.

I know its strange and try not to take it the wrong way. Every time I told someone , they laughed at me, and recommended not to write it on my blog; but it is too weird to pass up

I like to eat Dill pickle spears. Well I like to put the whole pickle in my mouth and suck the juice off of it first. While pulling the pickle out, I gave myself a paper cut. Yes, the pickle's skin gave me a paper cut in my mouth.

I love to decorate Easter eggs, but I have a family that loves to eat the hard boiled egg that is inside. Decorating the egg with glitter, markers, and other materials used to jazz up an egg may look pretty; but it leaves me to wonder, "Is the egg really safe to eat?" After all when you peel the egg shell off a elaborately glittered egg, you can't help but to get some of the glitter on the hard boiled egg.

Here are some ideas on how to decorate your Easter eggs with Harmless material; especially if you want to eat it afterwards.

- all natural dyes
- replace glitter with edible sprinkles you use on cakes
- use double adhesive tape instead of glue to attach buttons, scrapbooking material, paper, etc...
-Decorate with beans, rice, dried noodles

Tutorial: Worry Dolls

Worry dolls are very small and colorful dolls traditionally made in Guatemala. A person who cannot sleep due to worrying can express their worries to a doll and place it under their pillow before going to sleep. The doll is thought to worry in the person's place, thereby permitting the person to sleep peacefully

There are many ways of making worry dolls. Traditionally they are usually made from scraps of fabric, yarn, string, wood, etc... Here is how to make them. All I used is paper and yarn.

Take a scrap of paper about the length of your thumb and roll it up. You can use a tooth pick to help roll it.

Secure the tube with a piece of tape.

then take another scrap of paper and fold it a few times. These will be the arms.

tape the arms to the body

cut the tube half way to make the legs. Then your done with the basic shape of the body. Then its time to dress it.

I wrapped blue scrap yarn around it's stomach and legs to make it look like jeans.

then I wrapped scraps of green yarn to make a shirt

Remember you can use scraps of fabric and make a dress or even string. Its your doll. I just used yarn because thats what I had.

After your finish dressing it. Use a pen and draw its face.

Now tell your new friend your worries before you go to sleep
Place your friend under your pillow and your worries will go away.

This Weekend

I spent some time at my parent's house. My dad took us out to watch Alice In Wonderland in 3D at a IMAX theater. It was great. I love it when things come flying towards you. I flinch as if it would actually hit me. If you love artistic eye candy, this is the movie to watch.

This weekend I also went to the dog park with my mom and sister.
The big dogs are sepperated from the little dogs. Sometimes the big dogs want to play with the little ones. So they run back and forth along the gate.

This one looks happy and tired from a good run.

For dinner we went to a Korean all you can eat place. It was so good. So much FOOD!!!
We have been to many different Korean Food Restaurants and this place is the best. The service is excellent, the food is good and the price makes it even better. We all left feeling very stuffed with a huge smile on our faces. A perfect way to end a weekend.

Tutorial: Paper flower Bead

This is a tutorial on how to make a paper flower bead. I made a large one just so you can see it better.

This is the template I used. You can use any symmetrical flower template or you can use this one.

Trace the template onto the paper you want to use and cut the image out.Cut out several flowers and make sure they look identical to each other. I used 8 flower pieces.

Fold the flower in the middle. I marked the middle with the orange maker. Make sure the right side and the left side matches up.

After folding two pieces you can glue one half side together. together.
The more pieces you use, the more elaborate your it will look.

Be sure to glue the last two ends together.
So each flap should have two pieces of paper glued together.

Naturally you should have a small hole in the middle.
The more flaps you have the larger the hole will be.

Quick Post Flash- I just watched the news and I can't believe what it was telling me. The American Academy of Pediatrics proposed to redesign the hotdog. WHAT?! The reason is because "the hot dog is a hazard for kids, associated with more choking deaths among children than any other food."

Hello readers. Today I had to go to college for my dance class. After finishing I had to wait for the bus and I realize that someone forgot there Math book. I looked at the math book and looked at the crowed of people lining up to get into the Shuttle bus. Then the demon on one shoulder and the angel on the other started to talk.

Demon "hey hali, you should take it, you can sale it to someone else who is taking that math class. everyone is looking for used math book."

Angel: "if you lost a book and soemone took it, how would you feel. You would feel really bad. Your a good person, don't steep so low."

Demon: "Do you think other people would try to find the owner of the book? No... If you lost it someone would just take it and sale it. Aren't you tired of getting the fuzzy end of everything. No one cares, no one is sitting around it. its lost and finders keepers. wouldn't you like a BRAND NEW DRESS?"

Angel: "You should find the owner. Don't stop now, good things will come around to you someday. Just be patient Even if everyone else in the world is mean and greedy, its just not you. Be true to yourself. "

Well i did the right thing. I picked up the book and saw the price tag of $104 USED on it. I made sure I was the last person to go on the shuttle and I told the shuttle/bus driver "Someone forgot there book and I am trying to find the owner." He smiled and I yelled out to the crowd of students "Did ANYONE LOOSE A BOOK?" I raised the book into the air and waived it. Sure enough a slender looking guy with short brown hair stood up with a huge smile saying "yeah thats mine." I gave it to him and walked back out of the shuttle/bus.

He didn't say thank you. I guess that's okay, i saw how relieved he looked threw the bus window. Sure I could of made $104 off of it easily, but maybe ...
he will pass the kindness forward and make the world a better place one good deed at a time.

Creepiest place on Earth: The Island Of The Dolls (yes, it exists)

#1 Island of the Dolls
Oh man this place is creepy. I would of thought a island of dolls would be a doll collector's dream come true, but this place will make you think twice. Located south of Mexico City, it is a place where Chucky would have his wedding. Almost every tree is decorated with old and mutilated dolls. Here is a clip where The TV Show Destination Truth features the Island of the Dolls.

This place REALLY exists and this place is REALLY Creepy.

The island of the dolls all started when a little girl drowned in the water. From there on people believed that the girls spirit haunted the island. A man named Don Julián who lived on the island hanged dolls on trees as a offering to the spirit. He hoped that by doing so, it would appease the spirit and protect himself from evil. Sooner or later the entire island turned into a shrine for the little girl. Later, Don Julian was found dead by his newphew in the same canal the little girl drowned in. Since then people La Isla De Munecas became Mexico's creepy tourist. The dolls are believed too have paranormal energy and whisper to the travelers to come to visit. When you decide to visit the island, make sure to bring an offering of a doll, candles and hard candy to appease the spirit.

Lacma Museum

I went to the lacma museum. It was really fun. I saw plenty of beatiful art, but sometimes i have to wonder why certain items are worthy enough to be in a museum.

What was really instersting to watch is the people standing around a painting that looks like a square with several lines. They looked at that very intently. I wanted to stand next to them and try to see what they see.

How to cure a headache?

I have a headache and I want it to go away.

The easiest way of getting rid of a headache is to take painkillers. On the other hand, I am going to take advantage of this situation and try to get rid of my headache with natural home remedies.

Lets see who will win. Will I give up and take painkillers or will a simple home remedy cure me?

Test #1: A glass of water.
-----After drinking a large glass of water, I feel refreshed. I have waited 1 hour and still my headache has not gone away. I guess I am not dehydrated. Lets try something else.

Test#2: Fox news report that Caffeine. They say it will "restrict the blood vessels causing less pain. " We will see about that. Not sure if I want my vessels to restrict but I will try it anyways.
--- Lets just say coffee isn't my thing. I am not a coffee drinker so the coffee seems to have upset my stomach. Blah....

Test #3: Going up side down. according to huffingtonpost.com
--- While being upside down, all the pressure in my head seem to have applified more. I feel pressure in my head because of all the blood going to it. Once I sat upright, I feel the pressure leave. For a few minutes the headache was gone, but it came back.

Test #4. pressing fingers between my eyes.
this works, as long as I am doing it. Once I stop, it come back. maybe i have a sinus headache.

update: I just came back from dinner. My headache is gone.

If you have any advice on how to get rid of a headaches quickly , please feel free to share.

Yesterday (was valentines day)

Yesterday was valentines day. My boyfriend took me out on a lovely picknic.

One this is for sure, he makes great sandwiches. I tell him he should be a sandwich maker as a side career. He doesn't make ordinary sandwiches, it has to be on special bread, special cheese, and special meat , cut and layered in a specific way.

I could never make him a sandwich becuase he yells at me for choosing the wrong meat cheese and bread combination.

Yup, thats me. I am as happy as can be. A simple picnic just for two.

Preparing for valentines day

I was busy all day with my boyfriend making chocolate dipped EVERYTHING. Originally, we were going to make chocolate dipped strawberry but that soon expanded to chocolate dipped crainsins (dry cranberrys), raisins, nut clusters and Maraschino cherry. We tried every combination of white chocolate and chocolate drizzles. We were even thinking about chocolate dipping oreo cookies or popcorn, but we ran out of chocolate.

I recommend the Craisins in chocolate. I test taste one and its GOOD.
The nut clusters is good If your a nut person. I am not a nut person so I didn't like them.

I just can't wait to eat the strawberrys. We made three types. One is dipped in chocolate and the other has a drizzle of white chocolate and white chocolate.

Lets just say we made a chocolate Feast

Or Here is a summary of what I did

The Chocolate Melting (We bought the microwavable kind)
We Bought microwavable chocolate called Dolci frutta. (Packaging picture is located in the first picture.) It made it really easy. The instructions told up to put it in the microwave for 30 sec on medium and sturr. We continued to do this until the chocolate is melted. If you leave it in the microwave for 30 secounds without stirring, it might BURN.

The Strawberries and Nut Clusters
We dipped the strawberries into the chocolate thats in a bowl and placed it onto foil. The Nut clusters were already clustered together like a granola. We simply dipped it in the chocolate and placed on the foil.

The Craisins and Raisins
To make the Craisin dipped in chocolate we put a small pile of Craisins on the foil. Then we took a spoon and slowly poured the chocolate on top of the Craisins. When the chocolate hardens it will cause the Craisins to stick together. So make sure you put enough chocolate. ( Do the same for raisins.)

The Hardening of chocolate
It isn't exactly Martha Stewart's Kitchen, but my kitchen was cool enough to cause the chocolate to harden by itself. Another way for the chocolate to harden is by putting it in the fridge.
